"Mama says they's my magic shoes"- Forrest Gump

Well, we got Alex's shoe, and the quote from Forrest Gump reminds me of it. (If you can't find a little humor in everything, then life is going to be really loooong) He doesnt seem to mind it one bit, and has been wearing it for two days now. It bothered Nicole more than it did him. When Chris and Nicole came back from the Ortho doctor she told me, that Alex doesnt like his new shoe and we should take it off. It is so sweet that she cares that much about her little brother. As soon as he starts crying she comes and tells me, and one time when we vacuumed she covered his ears until we were finished. She definitely doesnt like him being uncomfortable.
As for Alex, he is way less fussy and can sit for hours without making a peep. He just looks around drives his imaginary motorcycle. ( He holds both arms and legs in the air and turns his little hands like he is starting a motorcycle.) We are also down to one feeding a night. Usually around 3 or 4 then he wakes up again at 7:30 or 8 when I would be waking up anyway. He still makes noises all night though, which constantly wakes me up. Hopefully that will go away soon. I have definitely been considering turning the guest bedroom into a nursery soon. We'll see what happens. Until then....
